Privacy

The short version

When you buy Khidr Animate we receive your name, email and country so we can deliver it and support you. Your card details go to Stripe and Link, never to us. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. To have your data deleted, email hello@kaevolabs.com.

What we collect

• Your name, email and billing country. Entered at checkout and passed to us by Stripe. Used to deliver your download, support you and keep sales records.
• Payment details. Entered into the Link checkout and processed by Stripe and Link. We never see or store your card number. We can see the card brand, its last four digits, the country and whether the payment succeeded.
• Purchase records. What you bought, when, what you paid, and the time of your first download, which we record because our refund policy depends on it. We keep these because tax and accounting rules require it.
• Emails you send us. Kept so we can reply and help you.
• Server logs. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser). They are used for security and reliability only.

We do not buy data about you, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own and loads no analytics or advertising scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives the IP address of the request. The Link checkout sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and to keep checkout working; Stripe's privacy policy covers those.

If we ever add analytics, we will name the provider here before turning it on.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We use your name, email and purchase records to perform the contract you made when you bought. We keep tax and payment records because the law requires it. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure service for server logs and fraud prevention.

Who else processes it

• Stripe, Inc. and Link for payments, tax, receipts and fraud checks. As merchant of record, Link is also a controller in its own right for the checkout.
• Cloudflare, Inc. for hosting this site and storing the download file.
• Google LLC for the web fonts.
• Zoho for our email, which stores the messages we send and receive.

Some of these are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, it moves under the standard contractual clauses these providers publish.

How long we keep it

Purchase and tax records are kept for seven years. Emails are kept for two years. Cloudflare's server logs are kept on Cloudflare's own short schedule.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the data we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your data, except records we are legally required to keep;
• give you your data in a portable format;
• stop or restrict how we use it.

Email hello@kaevolabs.com from the address you bought with. We reply within five business days and finish within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EEA, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

Khidr Animate is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Card data never reaches us. The download file is stored privately and is only given out after Stripe confirms a payment. Our accounts are protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For changes that materially affect how we use your data, we will email people who have bought.
